Count Down Till Takeoff

Well only 14 days till we leave. I do believe my head can now spin all the way around by it's self. We have our second set of paperwork ready to go we are just waiting on one form to come back from the Secretary of States office. We have orderd new boots, bags and a new computer. Our facilitator is expecting us on the 11th and has arranged an apartment for us to rent just off Independence square.

I spent black friday out shoping trying to get ready for Christmas since we will not be here but santa must still come. I have gotten it almost all done wraped and in the closet for my mom to put out. Work is busy. this will be my last full week, next week I am only working as needed. I don't believe I'll be able to consentrat next week anyways so it is good I am wrapping that up.

The news comeing from Ukriane is not exactly what we want to be hearing. There seems to be lots of families waiting for second appointments with the SDA and no healthy children under the age of 10. It is very hard to keep faith that our little girl will be availible at the time of our appointment.

Will post again soon.

HALLOWEEN

Donna and the boys are out filling up pillow cases with candy, so I get a few minutes to type a couple comments. Today was completely chaotic for Donna and I neither one of us got anything done on our list of stuff that's gotta get done.....I've been trying to order some thermals from Cabela's for three days now:-) We both kinda collapse into bed at night then get up and do it all over again. I'll get more done tomorrow. We hope everyone will follow the blog while we are away.

Ukraine here we come

Well it's official we will be spending the Holidays in Ukraine. We bought our plane tickets today. We fly out on December 10th with an estimated return date of January 17, 2007. If we get very lucky we'll be home in time for my 40th birthday. We are running like crazy now trying to get every thing all set in the next 50 days. We love all the comments you guys are leaving.

The boys are very excited. They can't wait to have a baby sister to tackle and Jeremiah is just hoping it means I'll stop calling him my baby ("But mom I'm almost seven. I'm not a baby anymore"). Grammy and Poppy will be very busy while we are gone trying to keep the boys schedules straight. Jacob is playing indoor soccer and doing Boy Scout's, Jesse is doing Tae Kwon Doe and hockey, and Jeremiah is playing hockey too. Grammy will also be filling in for me in the boys' classrooms that I volunteer in. My boss the other day asked if Grammy might also be willing to fill in for me at work. I think that might be asking a bit too much. Well, I guess I should be off and making list nine thousand three hundred and fifty one of what we need to do before we leave.
