Twenty Nine Months and Finally a Due Date

We found out yesterday that we have an appointment date for the SDA in Ukraine on December 13, 2007. It has been a very long time coming and I have to say we are excited and terrified all in the same breath. Now the craziness begins. We have 64 days to get ourselves ready to spend a month overseas and get the boys in line to hang with grammy and poppy for a while. We are hoping to head out around the 10th of December no real estimate of how long we will be there. The average time in-country is about four weeks so we will miss Christmas, Jacobs birthday, and New Years with the boys. Hopefully we will spend them with our new daughter though. We will try and update this blog regularly so you can follow along on this crazy roller coaster ride we enbarked on so long ago.

Congratulations on finally getting a travel date! How exciting to finally get to go and meet your daughter. She will be the luckiest child to have you two as parents and 3 great brothers! Good luck and I will keep checking the blog to see how things are going.

I am sooooo excited for all of you! While reading your message I had tears in my eyes and a smile on my face at the same time. I'm just a phone call away if you need me.
Warmly,
Christy

Congrats to you all and when you need anything (at least from what can be done from California) just email. Your daughter is as lucky as you are! Kiss the boys - ely, signe, cathy and john (aka the blondes)

Wow! It is finally going to happen! We are so excited for all of you and can't wait to hear your updates as they get posted. Trevor wonders if Jacob is ready to have an annoying little sister around?!! Boys!
It will be so nice for you to finally have a little princess in the house. We will pray that everything is smooth sailing from here on out.
God bless you all!
